Kingdom: Netflix Korean Drama

On January 2019 Netflix has air the latest drama titled “Kingdom (킹덤)”. The historical genre and thriller drama was adapted from a web comic titled “Land of the Gods” by writer Kim Eun Hee.

While the illustrations are drawn by Yang Kyung Il, which was first published on July 23, 2015. The plan, Kingdom will be made in 3 seasons.

Initially, the handsome actor who was Song Hye Kyo’s husband, Song Joong Ki was the one who got the offer to be the main actor in the drama Kingdom.

However, it turned out that he refused and now Joo Ji Hoon took the role.

Joo Ji Hoon is a Korean actor who has played in other famous dramas such as “Medical Top Team” (2013) and Movies “Along with the Gods: The Two Worlds” (2017) & “Along With the Gods: The Last 49 Days” ( 2018).

Kingdom (킹덤) Synopsis, Trailer, And Cast: Korean Drama

The drama is about the crown prince of the Joseon dynasty, Lee Chang (Joo Ji Hoon) who is accused of treason in the game of political power after the king contracted a deadly epidemic and turned into a zombie in the treatment process.

The crown prince who is suspicious of the health of his queen-covered father (Kim Hye Jun) and royal minister Jo Hak Jo (Ryoo Seung Ryeong), tries to go to the outskirts of the country in search of a famous doctor who holds the mystery of the king’s illness and tries to eliminate the treason against him accompanied his personal bodyguard Moo Young (Kim Sang Ho).

There, Lee was confronted with victims of the epidemic who had turned into zombies. During the trip, he had to face death by being chased by zombies and also a royal guard who tried to arrest him.

He is also assisted by a doctor named Seo Bi (Bae Doo Na) as the person who first met the zombies at the clinic where he worked with Young Shin (Kim Sung Kyu).
